The new iOS 4.3.3 download has just been release by Apple, for Verizon iPhone owners the update is 4.2.8. This update is now available for all to download and we want to hear from you.
This new update is way ahead of its scheduled release and surely it has something to do with Apple getting blasted for the major problems to do with location tracking bug. This new iOS firmware download is for the following: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 GSM only, Apple iPad 2, iPad, iPod touch 3rd and 4th generation, if you have the Verizon iPhone CDMA you will be happy to know there is a new iOS 4.2.8 update.
OK, many of you may have encountered problems with the location-tracking bug and this update is apparently the fix, we would like to know if it has fixed this issue after you have downloaded the update.
iDB reports that this update will reduce the size of the location cache, prevent it from backing up via iTunes, and remove the cache entirely when location services are disabled. Wonder if jailbreakers, will go anywhere near this update? let us know.
Once again please let us know if you have any problems downloading this new iOS 4.3.3 firmware update and if you are still having problems with location tracking.
