Every tech lover out there wants to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy SII, but may be hesitating to do so because of their limited budget. Don’t worry because Samsung has found a way for people to enjoy the phone without spending too much money on it, provided that they would agree on lowering down a few features while retaining the Galaxy SII feel and experience. It also goes on a different name, even called the Samsung Galaxy R.
Some of the strip down features includes a Super Clear LCD touch screen, instead of the Super AMOLED, a 5-megapixel camera instead of the 8-megapixel wonder, and 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra, as an alternative to Samsung’s 1.2 GHz dual-core Exynos processor. There would be minor differences in visual quality, image capture performance, and multitasking handling. Nevertheless, it’s close to the real deal. There are no dates of release yet, but it would surely excite Galaxy SII hopefuls out there.
