iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Azure Cloud Storage Announced

SMEStorage has announced the availability of Microsoft Azure Blob Storage for the Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, BlackBerry and Android smartphones, Windows, Mac, and Linux desktop cloud tools.

So what is Microsoft Azure Blob Storage? Well it delivers “persistent, durable storage in the cloud on the Microsoft Azure services platform.” So basically Azure files can be accessed and managed via all supported clients which now includes the iPhone and Apple iPad.

Ian Osborne, the CEO had this to say…“We are very pleased to add the Azure Storage cloud to the list of Clouds that can be used from our Platform. We now support over 15 clouds and will continue to add further clouds based on user and market demand. Our platform is an open cloud platform in which users can choose which combinations of file storage they wish to use with the confidence that they can access their data from the web, any Operating System, and any mobile client.”

The iSMEStorage app for the iPhone and Apple iPad enables the user to view and manage files from numerous clouds right from your iOS device and just so you can see what it’s all about we have a couple of video demos of iSMEStorage for the iPhone and Apple iPad below.
