Here’s what Nokia might have in store for us at MWC in February, the Nokia E6-00.
Emphasis on might as thee’s no solid evidence to support the idea of it being unveiled at the annual event in Barcelona next month nor do we have a leaked picture of it yet. The image to the left is just a render. Based on an XML file dug up on Nokia’s website, this new Eseries smartphone supposedly comes with a VGA (640×480) display, WiFI, HSDPA, and runs on an ARM processor with Symbian as its OS, most likely Symbian^3 or something better.
In addition to that, Mobile Bulgaria now reports that this E6 will also boast of an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, and a full QWERTY keypad below its display. Unwiredview suggest that it may actually look like a slightly bigger version of the Nokia E5. I’m not quite down with what they’re proposing, but we’ll see.
While we’re certainly looking forward to this baby getting announced next month, what we’re more interested to find out – if it does get formally introduced at the Feb’s big event – is whether they can release this one in a timely manner. If you can recall, the Nokia N8 was plagued with delays, and their newest Eseries offering, the Nokia E7, has yet to roll out globally.
Oh well, I guess only time will tell.
