So how about getting some action on with Microsoft Kinect via your Android device? Well apparently that’s what some hacker has now managed to achieve and we have video evidence to prove it, although I’m not too sure what the Android device is.
The Kinect hack to the Android device is apparently accomplished using openFrameworks, and the video demonstration which lasts two and a half minutes comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo and by way of the HirotakaSter YouTube page.
According to Ubergizmo this is a merging of Microsoft’s motion sensing Kinect with an Android powered device but there’s no software as yet. You can check out all the tech jargon by hitting up Noritsuna whre you can find links to making the thing.
As I’m not that technically minded when it comes to hacks and as I don’t even recognise what Android device it is, I’ll simply leave you to mash that play button and check out the video footage, and feel free if you recognise the device attached to the Kinect to let us know…enjoy.
