Motorola Droid X 2 Resurfaces With More Leaked Images, Coming to Verizon

The Droid X 2 or the Droid ‘Square’, call it what you may has been a subject of great interest for the past month or so and there is more incoming, coupled with a new image leak which confirms that the Droid X 2 from Motorola is indeed a reality. Before you go any further, it is important to know that the Droid X 2 and the Droid Bionic are two different devices with the latter being an LTE capable thingamajig.

Anyway, we will talk about the Droid Bionic some other time, as at the moment, it is the Droid X 2 which is in the limelight. The image above tells you what exactly the device will look like and as far as the platform is concerned, the Droid X successor will be running Android 2.2.

It will not be the powerhouse of a device it was expected to be and there will definitely be no LTE compatibility on board. The Droid X will share some features from its predecessor and those will include- an 8 megapixel camera, a 4.3-inch WVGA (854 x 480) display, a 1.2GHz single-core CPU, and 768MB of RAM.

The Bionic and the Droid X 2 will share something in common though and that will be the Carrier in the form of Verizon Wireless.
