Google Instant Previews coming to iPhone

You know that feature on Google’s site wherein it automatically displays a preview of a page when you hover your mouse/cursor over an item in the search results? That’s called Instant Previews, and it’ll soon be available on every iPhone across the globe. In fact, it’s already rolled out to some iOS devices already probably on a test run before they officially announce it to the public.

Google Instant Previews

How will you know it’s already available? Just like how it works on a PC browser, the search results in Google mobile will have a magnifying glass beside it to indicate that it’s Previews-enabled. Viewing the different preview pages is as easy as flicking through the thumbnails pretty much like you would when browsing through open Safari tabs on your iPhone. It’s really pretty convenient.

And the best part is? You don’t have to download an app or software for this. All you have to do is sit back and wait until Google unleashes this feature to everyone. Don’t know exactly when that will, but we’ve got a feeling that it’ll be happening a lot sooner than later.
