Though the gadget-loving world is still debating just how useful the Atrix’s crazy little Laptop Dock accessory really is, this handset pretty much stole the show at CES on its uniqueness alone. A month later, AT&T has revealed all the pricing/ordering details.
Here’s what you need to know:
By itself, sans Laptop Dock accessory, the Motorola Atrix and its mega-speed 1GHZ dual-core architecture will set you back $190 on a 2-year contract
If you buy the phone and the Laptop Dock at the same time, the bundle will cost $500 after 2-year contract and a $100 mail-in rebate.
If you want the laptop later instead of buying it with the phone, it’ll set you back a full $500 bucks.
Pre-orders begin February 13th, but the handset will start shipping on March 6th (though, according to AT&T, it might surprise us and arrive earlier)
They’re also offering an “Entertainment Access Kit” which’ll run for $190 (on top of the cost of the phone) and come packed with a Motorola HD Multimedia Dock, a Bluetooth® keyboard and mouse, and a remote control.
What say you, friends? Do we have any anxious soon-to-be Atrix-owners out there?
