New device will run Android 2.3 and be available worldwide in May 2011
ZTE has launched it flagship “skateboard” influenced Android phone the ZTE Skate (pictured) at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The device which weighs 120 grammes has a 4.3 inch screen,800MHz processor and a five mega pixel camera uses the Android 2.3 operating system.
It also has a Adreno 200 graphics processing unit (GPU) enabling it to support widescreen and high definition display.
The device is expected to be available across the world in May this year.
The launch of the ZTE Skate also kicks off ZTE’s “Light Your Smart World” smart product strategy which saw the Chinese company unveil a range of devices.
These included the Android based Amigo slide and Blade and the F952 which runs Brew MP and supports the Wholesale Applications Community (WAC).
