T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G gets announced, Arriving this month

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4GThere’s a new Samsung Galaxy S smartphone in town, although it’s not yet the anticipated next-generation Galaxy S2 Android phone. It’s the Samsung Galaxy S 4G from T-Mobile. Appearance-wise, it just looks like a renamed version of the Galaxy S Vibrant, but don’t be fooled, this baby’s got a few new treats to offer up interested subscribers. First off, it comes with a more powerful battery, 1650mAh vs 1500mAh on the Vibrant. It also now features a front-facing camera, and last, but certainly not the least, provides better data connectivity with 21Mbps HSPA+ network support. Apart from a 16B microSD card, they’re also preloading it with Kindle, and the hit movie Inception as an added treat for buyers.

The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G is scheduled to drop later this month, though pricing is still yet to be known. In the meantime, you can check out the full press release here.
