Virgin Mobile Preparing New High-End Android Smart Device

VMCS 2VMCS 1A Virgin Mobile customer has posted screencaps of the latest Customer Pulse survey and they have revealed Virgin Mobile’s plans to launch a new smartphone with the following specifications: a 4.1 inch WVGA resolution display, 5.0 megapixel main camera,  Android 2.2, Wi-Fi radio, Snapdragon processor and HDMI output.

Virgin Mobile is also seeking survey respondents to pick a name for the device with the following choices of “Prize” “Soar” “Triumph” “Caymus” and “Theory”.

While the survey does not confirm any other details such as manufacturer or pricing, the survey questions point to an imminent launch of the smartphone sometime this year based on the questions. Virgin Mobile’s last major handset launch was the LG Optimus V, released at the beginning of the month for $149.99.
