So when will that Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet from the Motorola camp come out to play? Well apparently the word is potential customers for the new Motorola Xoom tablet may just get their mitts on the device this month.
That is if a report by DigiTimes is anything to go by as they are reporting that Motorola is set to sell the 10.1 inch Motorola Xoom to the public “as early as February 2011.”
The article further reports that as Motorola’s competitors are expected to launch their Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets in March, Motorola pushing out the Motorola Xoom in February will give the company a month’s head start over their rivals.
However, according to an article over on Nexus404, the Motorola Xoom may become available as of the 17th of February. They assume this date because, Chad Ochocinco is already the proud owner of the Motorola Xoom and will be using it during Super Bowl, and apparently one of Ochocinco’s guests, Gerald McCoy used Twitter to tweet… “Wondering if its true about the Xoom!! Wait 2 weeks and go find out!! BUY IT!!”
So maybe the Motorola Xoom will become available around the middle of Feb, and as that isn’t that far off will soon find out.
