TELUS BlackBerry Bold 9780 and Torch 9800 OS 6 upgrades available
Carriers have been rolling out a BlackBerry 6 upgrade for the Bold 9700 and Curve 3G one after another, but this one is for the Bold 9780 and Torch 9800, both of which already run on RIM’s latest mobile OS. So, what’s this upgrade all about? It’s a minor update, which addresses some issues, such as overlapping Home screen icons on the Bold 9780, and comes with certain enhancements, including reliability of the Torch 9800’s camera/video app, just to name a few. It’s not quite yet BlackBerry 6.1 material, but it’s still something worth updating to.
