Ever since Nokia and Microsoft announced their partnership to produce Windows Phone 7 smartphones, we have been waiting to hear when they would become available.
Now it looks like the first Windows Phone 7 handsets from Nokia will be available in Europe in quarter 4 of 2011, as Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop recently confirmed in an interview that the devices would be launching in certain European countries in Q4.
Elop has said that we will see Nokia Windows Phone 7 devices available in six European countries before the end of the year which include the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
There are no details as yet on when the Nokia WP7 device will be available in the US and other European countries including their home country of Finland.
