Motorola Mobility, Inc. introduces Motorola MILESTONE 2 with MOTOBLUR into the Peruvian market. This Android 2.2 device offers more speed, more connectivity, more messaging, more storage, more Web with Adobe Flash Player 10.1, more multimedia and more personalization improving upon its original predecessor, the award-winning Motorola MILESTONE.

The new device features a 1 GHz processor, allowing users to sift through their content quickly, even when running multiple applications simultaneously or a number of open web browser pages. MILESTONE 2 offers an improved and more spacious QWERTY keyboard, including larger keys and better tactility for easier typing. It also acts as a 3G mobile hotspot1 to connect up to five WiFi enabled devices for enhanced productivity.

The MILESTONE 2 also offers MOTOBLUR, making it even easier to manage all your emails, messages and updates from social networking profiles in one place with the addition of filters. Further enhancements to the original MILESTONE include 720p HD video capture and playback, allowing users to capture life’s moments in crystal clear detail, as well as Adobe Flash Player 10.1 for improved web experience, including rich video and gaming content. The experience is rounded off with a connected music player delivering song lyrics, additional artist news and information, as well as integrated social applications for sharing and giving recommendations. Users will have plenty of room for their content with up to 8GB internal memory and an 8GB microSD card inbox, expandable to 32GB.

A suite of Google mobile applications including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube are also integrated onto the device. Plus users have access to Android Market with more than 150,000 applications.

Availability and price

Motorola MILESTONE 2 will be available in Peru at the end of March by MoviStar with a price of $1299 with Personal Black plan that includes an unlimited data package, 500 minutes to speak, 250 SMS, 250 MMS and 10 Personal numbers to communicate for free, at $199 monthly.
