Sprint ID, Sprint ID packs
Sprint ID allows customers, on select Sprint devices, to instantly download “ID packs” that deliver a complete mobile experience, including applications, widgets, ringtones and wallpapers. ID packs are designed to meet a customer’s lifestyle or interests like sports, entertainment, fitness, music and more. ID packs allow users to easily switch between English or Spanish, or are specifically tailored to the customer’s business or line of work. The marketplace of Sprint ID experiences is growing, with many name-brand packs available today. Sprint customers can download one or up to five ID packs on their device.
Whether they’re an environmentalist, golfer, auto enthusiast, celebrity watcher, fitness fanatic, fashionista, gamer or business professional, Sprint ID makes it easy for customers to personalize their phone by allowing them to download an ID pack in a single download with the content to fit their lifestyle. ID Packs: Customers with Sprint ID-capable devices can download up to five ID packs onto their device. Once an ID pack is loaded, users can easily switch between packs and further personalize their phone with additional apps and content.
Sprint ID launched in October 2010 with 16 ID packs targeting specific interests, including Home Base, Health & Fitness, Fashion & Beauty, Socially Connected, Business Pro, Golf Enthusiast, Auto Enthusiast, The Big Apple and Entertainment, as well as branded ID packs from Yahoo!, WHERE, Lo2Yo by LatCel, and favorite games from Electronic Arts. Since launch, brands that have deployed Sprint ID packs include Disney Channel, MTV, ESPN and HSN.
