For the Samsung faithful out there in the UK who are waiting to snap up the Samsung Galaxy S 2 once the Android smartphone arrives in the UK, you might be pleased to know that you should be able to snap up the device as of the first of May.
However, according to an article over on the Crave, old Sammy has used the delay of the Samsung Galaxy S 2 to deliver a faster processor, a 1.2GHz dual core rather than a 1GHz, but the good news doesn’t end there.
According to the article, Play.com is offering the Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset at a lower price, as an unlocked SIM free smartphone for 499.99, which is 100 less than previously priced, and Play.com say the smartphone is due release on the 29th of April, so not too sure why that is, but most reports point to May 1st.
Spec wise I’m sure you already know all the nitty-gritty on the Android handset so I won’t both going over old ground, but if you need to refresh your memory you can do so by hitting up (here).
So are you waiting for the big day when you can purchase the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S, or are you going to wait and see what subsidies carriers offer rather than opt for an unlocked handset?
