The saga of the Motorola Droid BIONIC continues as a newly redeveloped version of the Android smatrphone has surfaced in China, this time with a much larger 4.5 inch qHD resolution display and Android Gingerbread along with the dedicated port for the lapdock as found on the ATRIX 4G. The phone is also said to be changed from its previous specifications to a more powerful GPU and chipset yet to be confirmed. The phone also features an 8.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and 1080p video capture.
The Motorola DROID Bionic was originally announced during CES this year for Verizon with Android Froyo and a 4.3 inch WVGA resolution display, but was quietly pulled by both Motorola and Verizon as it was meant to launch earlier this Spring.
